The Persian Gulf is a body of water in the Middle East, where most of the world's oil reserves lie. The countries that border it are- Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates,and Bahrain. All produce large amounts of oil, and becuase of it are fairly rich, for example, the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is breaking many world records for building heights and expenses, its urban core also houses the tallest building in the world as of September 2013, the Burj Khalifa.



GeographyEdit

It is connected to the Arabian Sea branch of the Indian Ocean via the Gulf of Oman. It is separated from the Gulf of Oman by the Strait of Hormuz.
